Utility of single-photon emission tomography/computed tomographyfor thediagnosis of orbital cavernous hemangioma

Conclusions cavernous hemangiomas and other tumours of the orbit can be differentiated by the 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy on SPECT/CT. 99Tcm-RBC scintigraphy is safe, easy to perform, and highly accurate in providing adequate clinical and surgical management, and it may be considered as one of the routine clinical screening tools for the diagnosis of OCH.
