Su1255 PREDICTORS FOR IDENTIFYING THE ETIOLOGY OF BLEEDING IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING VIDEO CAPSULE ENDOSCOPY (VCE) FOR SUSPECTED SMALL BOWEL BLEEDING

In 2015, the American College of Gastroenterology published guidelines regarding the management of suspected small bowel bleeding. Based on these guidelines, for patients with iron deficiency anemia or overt gastrointestinal bleeding without a diagnosis on either esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) or colonoscopy, a VCE is recommended to identify a small bowel source of bleeding. The aim of our study is to determine what factors contribute to identifying the etiology of bleeding in the small bowel on VCE.
