Postdoctoral Assembly of the Society of Toxicology Best Postdoctoral Publication Awards The Postdoctoral Assembly (PDA) of the Society of Toxicology is pleased to announce the Best Postdoctoral Publication Awards (BPPA). These awards were created to recognize talented postdoctoral researchers who have recently published exceptional papers in the field of toxicology. Applications are reviewed by the PDA Executive Board and a committee containing appropriate scientific expertise. The review process follows National Institutes of Health (NIH) conflict of interest policy, confidentiality, and nondisclosure policies. Three awards, each consisting of a plaque and $250, are presented at the PDA Luncheon during the SOT Annual Meeting. Eligibility for Nomination The research reported in the paper was conducted while the applicant was engaged in a postdoctoral research experience Member of SOT or membership application submitted by award application deadline First author on a peer-reviewed paper published online, in print, or in press, between October 1, 2013, and September 30, 2014 Review articles will not be accepted unless they contain meta-analyses, and/or decision analyses Co-first authored papers will be accepted with clear delineation of applicant’s effort Application supported by letter from the research advisor Only one paper may be submitted by each applicant PDA Executive Board members are eligible to submit applications, but tho...
