Conclusions: These findings suggest that inflammatory cells, including T cells, B cells, plasma cells, and macrophages, are involved in autoimmune GFAP astrocytopathy. Demyelination and astrocyte loss may not necessarily occur in this disease.Neuroimmunomodulation
