Association between the Ile164 β2 Adrenergic Receptor Polymorphism and Fatigue in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Conclusion: The discovery study indicates that the Ile164 polymorphism might in contrast to other β2AR polymorphisms affect fatigue levels in RA patients. This association was observed especially with mental fatigue. Further replication studies are warranted to determine further role of β2AR polymorphisms in RA patients.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:93 –101 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)

Immediate and Delayed Salivary Cytokine Responses during Repeated Exposures to Cold Pressor Stress
Discussion: Our results show that particular salivary cytokines may be sensitive to immediate effects of acute CPT-induced stress and also highlight the importance of employing control procedures to discern stress effects from unrelated variations in salivary cytokines.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:81 –92 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)

MiR-124 Reduced Neuroinflammation after Traumatic Brain Injury by Inhibiting TRAF6
Conclusion: This study demonstrated that upregulation of miR-124 promoted the M2 polarization of microglia and reduced neuroinflammation after TBI by inhibiting TRAF6.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:55 –68 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)

Aberrant dendritic cell subsets in patients with myasthenia gravis and related clinical features
Introduction: Dendritic cells (DCs) play critical roles in the pathogenesis of myasthenia gravis (MG), and a series of DC-based experimental strategies for MG have recently been developed. However, the definite roles of different DC subsets in the mechanism of MG have scarcely been covered by previous studies. The present study aimed to investigate the levels of three main DC subsets, plasmacytoid DCs (pDCs) (CD303 positive) and two distinct subsets of conventional DCs (cDCs), namely CD1c+ cDCs and CD141+ cDCs, in MG patients and analyze related clinical features. Methods: From January 2016 to December 2020, 160 newly dia...

Myrtenol Ameliorates Recognition Memories ’ Impairment and Anxiety-Like Behaviors Induced by Asthma by Mitigating Hippocampal Inflammation and Oxidative Stress in Rats
Conclusion: Myrtenol diminished asthma-induced anxiety-like behaviors and cognitive deficits in asthmatic rats; these effects might have been typically mediated by a reduction in inflammation and oxidative stress.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:42 –54 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)

Integrated Proteomic and Phosphoproteomic Analysis of the Hippocampus in a Mouse Model of Early Life Inflammation
Conclusions: Our findings demonstrated that neuroinflammation and impaired synapse may be involved in early life inflammation-induced cognitive impairment. Future studies are required to confirm our preliminary results.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:28 –41 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)

Neurotensin-Binding Immunoglobulin G in Patients with Parkinson ’s Disease
Discussion: The study revealed that NTS-binding IgG occur naturally in humans and that PD patients display their low plasma levels accentuated by disease severity. The functional significance of this finding and its relevance to the pathophysiology of PD, including putative link to gut microbiota, remain to be studied.Neuroimmunomodulation 2023;30:15 –27 (Source: Neuroimmunomodulation)
