Increased serum total bile acids can be associated with a small hematoma volume and decreased clinical severity during acute intracerebral hemorrhage.

CONCLUSIONS: Higher admission TBA was associated with smaller hematoma volume and decreased clinical severity, but not three month outcomes in patients with acute ICH.
