Conclusions The 30-degreed endoscopy had the advantages of obtaining a wider view. Full endoscopic decompression using 30-degreed endoscopy allowed satisfactory result clinically and reduction of surgical infection. It could be alternative method of microscopic laminectomy.

CONCLUSIONS: Neuropathic pain was slightly less frequently associated with chronic LBP in the elderly. Pregabalin was effective in reducing pain in patients with chronic LBP accompanied with neuropathic pain. Lumbar spinal stenosis and lower limb symptoms were observed in patients with neuropathic pain. We recommend the use of pregabalin for patients after evaluating a screening score, clinical symptoms and magnetic resonance imaging studies. PMID: 25901238 [PubMed]

Conclusion Impaired lumbar proprioception seems to improve shortly after decompressive surgery but tends to deteriorate again with longer follow-up despite the sustaining favorable clinical outcome. The surgery did not affect either the feed-forward or the feed-back muscle function, which indicates that the abnormal muscle activity in LSS is at least partly irreversible.
