Repurposing tin mesoporphyrin as an immune checkpoint inhibitor shows therapeutic efficacy in preclinical models of cancer.

CONCLUSIONS: SnMP could represent a novel immune checkpoint therapy, which may improve the immunological response to chemotherapy.
