Optic Nerve Glioma in Two Sisters with Family History of Neurofibromatosis Type 1

We present our experience with two siblings with ONG whose mother carries cutaneous stigmata of NF type 1. The younger sister was diagnosed 3 years after the treatment of the older sibling following recommended imaging for screening. Postoperative follow-up for 11 and 15 years, respectively, demonstrated lack of tumor regrowth and preserved vision in the contralateral eye.
