New Nutrition Society workshops aid Continuous Professional Development

It takes many months of planning and course development to design one of the Nutrition Society's training workshops. For those working in the field of nutrition, these courses, usually accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AFN), offer a convenient way to keep learning as part of one's continuous professional development (CPD). Continuous professional development The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development says:"As organisations shift the responsibility for personal development back to the individual, the ability and insight to manage your own professional growth is seen as a key strength.... Many employers now value 'learning agility' as a core competency." Nutrition Society training workshops are valuable for post-graduate level students in nutrition or dietetics, wishing to refresh or gain a more in-depth knowledge of a particular area. The courses are also valuable for those returning to practice. One-to-one learning Our ability to work with some of the most experienced nutritionists and respected academics around the world results in workshops that offer a great deal of insight into the latest research methods and outcomes.
