A Case of Unilateral Endometriosis Coexisting with Struma Ovarii in Bilateral Ovarian Teratoma
A 22-year-old nulligravida woman presented with intermittent flank pain. All laboratory results were within the normal limits including CA 125 and CA 19-9. Abdominal ultrasound revealed mixed echoic bilateral ovarian cysts up to 3 cm in size with perplexing components in the left ovary. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmed the presence of a 2.8 cm cystic mass with a hyper-signal on T1 and hypotensive T2-weighted images on the left ovary and 1.4 cm and 2.7 cm masses with T1 high fatty components on the right ovary were found (Fig.1).
