This program seeks to build mutual understanding between the United States and other countries in South and Central Asia through carefully designed short-term visits to the United States for current and emerging foreign leaders. The countries of South and Central Asia are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
