Comparison of Heparin and Bivalirudin in Patients Undergoing Orbital Atherectomy.
CONCLUSION: Both heparin and bivalirudin were safe and effective antithrombotic agents for patients who underwent orbital atherectomy. A randomized trial is needed to determine the antithrombotic agent of choice for orbital atherectomy.
