Impact of Placental Growth Factor on the First Day of Admission in Patients with Acute Decompensated Heart Failure

Background: Significance of placental growth factor (PlGF) in acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) was not clear. Methods: We have studied consecutive 436 patients with ADHF admitted to our department from 2011 through 2014. Of 436 patients, 271 patients measured PlGF levels on day 1 were studied. The primary endpoints were all-cause death and cardiovascular (CV) death.Results: We divided into two groups according to PlGF quartiles.
