Airway, Digestive, and Mental Health Comorbidities in WTC (World Trade Center) Responders and Survivors

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 03/01/2017 The goal of this course is to understand the medical and mental health comorbidities found in 9/11 responders and survivors. It identifies the groups of individuals affected by the 9/11 terrorist attack and environmental disaster, and their range of exposures. It describes acute and longer-term aerodigestive and mental health impacts on populations exposed to the World Trade Center disaster, and the benefits of a patient-centered, multidisciplinary program in managing 9/11 exposure-related medical and mental health comorbidities.
