Cancer and the World Trade Center Health Program

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 03/01/2017 The goal of this course is to educate clinicians about the association between cancer and exposure to 9/11 terrorist sites, as well as the health services the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) offers survivors and responders at risk of exposure or undergoing treatment for cancer. It explains why the WTCHP added cancer to the List of WTC-Related Health Conditions under the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, and discusses what cancers and screenings are covered by the WTCHP.
