Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation/Goldberg Arthritis Research Grant Deadline: Sept. 16, 2014 $50,000 grant (Directed program) • Encourages new investigators by providing seed and start-up funding for promising research projects that address issues related to the treatment of arthritis with an emphasis on arthroplasty. • Clinical relevance must be clearly noted in the abstract and specific aims, and be obvious from the title and the study design. • PI or Co-PI must be an orthopaedic surgeon. • PhDs and DVMs are eligible if affiliated with an orthopaedic department and working with an orthopaedic surgeon.
