Inhibiting aerobic glycolysis suppresses renal interstitial fibroblasts activation and renal fibrosis.

In conclusion, our findings demonstrate the critical role of aerobic glycolysis in renal fibrosis and provide the treatment with aerobic glycolysis inhibitors as a potential anti-fibrotic strategy.
