Clinical effect of intratympanic dexamethasone injection in acute unilateral tinnitus: A prospective, placebo ‐controlled, multicenter study

ConclusionThe results indicate that ITDI might not be more effective than ITNI for the treatment of acute unilateral tinnitus. Therefore, ITDI should not be considered as the main treatment for patients presenting with acute tinnitus as the primary symptom. Level of Evidence1b. Laryngoscope, 2017
