Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Health System Receive $3.5 Million Award for Training Leaders in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

December 26, 2016—(BRONX, NY)—The U.S. Health Resources& Services Administration has awardedAlbert Einstein College of Medicine andMontefiore Health System a $3.5 million, 5-year grant to support the Rose F. Kennedy Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (RFK LEND). The program trains approximately 1,000 specialized care professionals each year to provide exemplary, interdisciplinary care to children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs).
