Assessment of passive humidifier performance following on-ventilator aerosol therapy

Conclusions: AT with PHs can lead to an increase in RTF. All PH evaluated showed some increased RTF after AT but all met the 5 cm.H20. All types of PH's evaluated could be determined as the suitable for use in combination with AT.[1] ISO 9360-1992 anaesthetic and respiratory equipment (superseded).
