Cardiovascular system: critical incidents
Abstract: Cardiovascular events are an important group of critical incidents in anaesthesia. They include hypotension, hypertension, myocardial ischaemia/infarction, arrhythmias and cardiac arrest. These incidents require prompt recognition to stabilise the patient.
