Transportation planning plays an integral part in ensuring proper management in accordance with FLPMA. The recipient will provide the expertise in transportation planning to develop a transportation planning process that integrates BLM linear features (e.g. both roadways and trails) with those of the surrounding areas to provide a complete network that facilitates access to BLM lands and to the resources within those lands.
