Using big data to identify triple-negative breast, oropharyngeal, and lung cancers

(Case Western Reserve University) Researchers at Case Western Reserve University and colleagues used 'big data' analytics to accurately predict if a patient is suffering from aggressive or more treatable forms of breast cancer and a type of head and neck cancer. They are beginning a similar study on lung cancers. All efforts are to provide patients with earlier and more accurate detection, enabling them to choose the most suitable treatments.
