Two new trustees recruited to help drive our changing strategy

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve appointed two new trustees to our board. Professor Sallie Lamb will contribute her primary care and therapy expertise while Alex Hesz will be adding his digital experience. The new appointments will help us in our plans to expand our activities to include personalised information content and an enhanced enquiries service, and to extend our influencing activities. Alex Hesz Alex Hesz, executive interactive director at adam&eveDDB, joined the start-up as its first head of digital, having returned to London from the US where he was managing director of Modernista. His expertise in digital content and marketing will help the organisation to achieve its aspirations around personalised content and finding and engaging more people with arthritis. Alex Hesz, executive interactive director at adam&eveDDB, said: “I’m excited to take on this new role with a charity that’s close to my heart, after being diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. “Now is a great time to join the board, as we move into a new chapter for the organisation.
