The UACâ¿¿s principal purpose is to support the Governmentâ¿¿s objective to provide work opportunities for youth in National Parks. Youth employed in the UAC by Groundwork RVA gain hands-on experience in archeological and cultural resource projects by working with a variety of NPS divisions. Products created by the UAC will be shared through community events and social media to increase public awareness, knowledge, and support for archeological resources and stewardship of the nationâ¿¿s cultural and historical heritage. The UAC engages partners and communities in the shared environmental stewardship of archeological resources.
