Liraglutide may make high-fat foods less desirable to the brain's reward centers

(The Endocrine Society) A new study finds that the diabetes drug liraglutide leads to weight loss by acting on an area of the brain that controls attention and possibly making desirable foods less rewarding. Researchers will present their results Saturday at the Endocrine Society's 98th annual meeting in Boston.
