United States and Territories National Tsunami Hazard Assessment: Historical Record and Sources for Waves-Update

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. 12/2015This 38-page report updates the 2008 tsunami hazard assessment by incorporating both the new tsunami inundation data recorded through 2014 and studies completed since the earlier report. The results of the national assessment update are essentially the same as that in 2008, except for two changes in hazard levels. The first is the increase of the hazard level from Moderate to High for American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam. The second change in hazard levels is raising the level for the U.S. West Coast from High to High to Very High. (PDF)
