The PEPFAR goal is to advance progress towards sustainable control of the HIV epidemic and, ultimately, achieve an AIDS-free generation. As part of the PEPFAR, the United States Embassy in Maputo administers the Small Grants Program that is seeking to support small, grassroots, community-run projects throughout Mozambique. Programs/activities should focus on support services for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs), Prevention of new infections by the HIV and Adult Care and Support.
