64. Common and Distinct Patterns of Neural Activation Between Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder: A Comparison of Meta-Analytic Findings From Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Studies

Major depressive disorder (MDD) and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) are highly prevalent and comorbid mental disorders with many shared genotypic and phenotypic features as well as partially overlapping patterns of neural activation. The present meta-analysis seeks to identify statistically robust common and distinct patterns of neural activation in MDD and GDD reported in the primary literature.
