The cardiac effects of postoperative radiotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer warrants further evaluation
We read with interest the study by Kwon et al.[1] Although the study offers important insights, we question the conclusion that postoperative radiotherapy (PORT) does not significantly affect the incidence of various cardiovascular diseases in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients without pre-existing heart conditions.
