A useful map with some blind spots still: neurofilament light protein differentiating behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia from psychiatric disorders

Many of us work in a setting where differentiation between psychiatric disorders and neurological conditions is an everyday conundrum. Frontotemporal dementia, and particularly its behavioral variant (bvFTD) is one of the conditions contributing to this problem since its characteristic symptoms overlap with those of common psychiatric disorders.
