External assessment of preoperative scores for predicting outcome after microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia

CONCLUSIONS: Both the Hardaway and Panczykowski scores may be useful for predicting postoperative pain-free duration in TN patients, and their utility may be greatest when scores are clustered.
