An analysis of retracted COVID-19 articles published by one medical publisher with multiple journals
CONCLUSION: Analysis of the titles and abstracts of the articles suggests that their removal from the medical literature would have limited effects on the near-term management decisions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, retraction of medical articles creates uncertainty in medical care and science and in the public regarding the validity of medical research and related publications and the level of professionalism of the individuals submitting these articles.PMID:38628334 | PMC:PMC11018089 | DOI:10.1080/08998280.2024.2313333
