163 Optimising uptake of the Lung Health Check Operational Pilot within a socioeconomically deprived area of Wales
The Lung Health Check (LHC) Operational Pilot for Wales will enable preparation for a national lung cancer screening programme roll-out. Known barriers to participation in LHCs include smoking-related stigma, fear and fatalism, particularly amongst those living in socioeconomically deprived areas. We used evidence-based best practice when planning the Operational Pilot with the aim of optimising uptake.
