Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis in Egyptian children: diagnosis, treatment challenges and outcome

CONCLUSIONS: This study confirms that the nonspecific signsand symptoms of HLH arechallenging. Genetic testing, though expensive and sophisticated, is integralfor the diagnosis.
