Social Work Evaluation Domains Related to Caregiver Support and Mental Health are Strong Predictors of Risk of Readmission or Driveline Infection After HeartMate 3 (HM3)
Purpose: Social work (SW) assessment is a critical part of the evaluation for LVAD candidacy. Here we assessed the role of each component of a novel SW assessment tool structured across 6 domains (6D-SW) in predicting readmission or driveline infection (DLI) after LVAD.
