Purpose: In the setting of cardiogenic shock, Impella 5.5 is increasingly utilized as a minimally invasive bridge to recovery, decision, durable left ventricular assist device, or heart transplantation. We studied our short to mid-term experience with patients weaned from Impella 5.5.
