Rethinking Heart Retransplantation - Institutional Success Over Last Decade

Purpose: Heart retransplantation is traditionally considered higher-risk due to recipient factors including prior sternotomy, higher sensitization, greater acuity, and increased comorbidities. We sought to describe our experience with heart retransplantation compared to primary heart transplantation over the preceding decade.
