Refractory Hypoxia After LVAD Implantation: Mind the Hole
We report a patient with patent foramen ovale (PFO) who developed refractory hypoxia from right-to-left shunting from perioperative RVF requiring closure and right-sided temporary mechanical circulatory support (tMCS).
