Introduction: Kartagener ’s syndrome is a rare, autosomal recessive disorder characterized by the triad of situs inversus, bronchiectasis and sinusitis. There are some surgical challenges in lung transplantation for Kartagener’s syndrome due to situs inversus. First, dextrocardia can compress the implanted right lung.
