Efficacy of Lung Transplantation from Hepatitis C+ Donors

Purpose: Lung transplantation is an effective treatment for end-stage lung disease. The development of effective direct acting antiviral treatment (DAAT) for hepatitis C virus (HCV) has led to an expanded donor pool. The primary aim of this project is to investigate outcomes in lung transplant recipients with HCV+ donors compared with HCV- donors.
