Purpose: A rare but important complication of lung transplantation (LTx) is postoperative phrenic nerve dysfunction (PND). Diaphragmatic plication (DP) represents an established treatment option for PND, however, the long-term effect of DP on lung function in lung transplant recipients is currently unknown.
