A 3.5-year clinical experience with perampanel for refractory epilepsy
CONCLUSIONS: Perampanel was effective as an adjunctive treatment for intractable seizures, with a responder rate of 66.7%. The long-term tolerability of perampanel was generally good. Aggressive behavior was the most common reason for perampanel discontinuation. Patients should be counseled and monitored for these adverse effects, particularly those with a history of previous psychiatric and behavioral problems.PMID:38497889 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202403_35621
