Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma in the Oropharynx: A Review of the Literature

There is a lack of evidence-based recommendations for patient work up, counseling, and management of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the oropharynx (OPMEC). We aim to perform a systematic review and summarize the demographics, clinical presentation, histology, treatment, and oncologic outcomes of OPMEC.
