Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is the most frequent muscular dystrophies in childhood [1], with an estimated incidence of 1 in every 3,500-6,000 boys [2]. DMD causes several complications due to progressive muscle weakness, affecting cardiopulmonary functions and the ability to ambulate [2,3].
