Frailty Predicts Prognosis After Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair
Objective: Recently, frailty has been shown to be an independent risk factor for predicting post-operative prognosis. The Canadian Study of Health and Aging Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS), used to define frail patients, was significantly associated with clinical outcomes after cardiovascular procedures. However, no reports exist on the relationship between frailty and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) outcome. The effect of frailty on the prognosis of the patients who underwent TEVAR was evaluated.
