A US Multicenter Collaborative Study on Outcomes of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma
Hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma (HSTCL) is an extremely rare subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for less than 1% of cases.1-3 HSTCL was first described in 1981 and included as a provisional entity in the revised European-American classification of lymphoid neoplasms in 1994.4,5 Subsequently, HSTCL was recognized as a separate entity in the World Health Organization (WHO) classification of lymphoid malignancies in 1999.6
