Association of COVID-19 Infection with Subsequent Thyroid Dysfunction: An International Population-based Propensity Score Matched Analysis
CONCLUSIONS: COVID-19 infection was associated with an increased risk of thyroid dysfunction, including thyrotoxicosis and hypothyroidism, regardless of age or sex, during a 12-month follow-up period. Further research is required to validate these findings.PMID:38407979 | DOI:10.1089/thy.2023.0626
