Impact of Functional Conservation Surgery on Sleep Respiration of Patients with Glottic Cancer
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of OSAHS in patients with glottic cancer before and after surgery was higher than that in the general population. The effect of functional preservation surgery on sleep breathing in patients with glottic cancer is related to the degree of destruction of the thyroid cartilage scaffold and the scope of surgery. Surgery mainly increases the degree of OSAHS by aggravating patients' hypoventilation rather than apnea.PMID:38330556
